Viva Bahrain completes nationwide DC-HSPA+ rollout
Movistar Venezuela, a subsidiary of Spain’s Telefonica, has launched a push-to-talk over cellular (PoC)
service under the
name Moviltalk. The
service has nationwide coverage and is aimed mainly at the
corporate and SME sectors. TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database says that Movistar operates GSM, W-CDMA/HSPA and CDMA2000
mobile networks, but its main focus is on developing GSM/W-CDMA/HSPA, with CDMA accounting for a shrinking minority of its
customer base
