Tanzanian PTO announcing leasing terms of access to NICTBB

US-based Liberty Global has successfully completed its acquisition of Polish cableco Aster. Following regulatory approval, which was granted with conditions, Liberty Global’s local subsidiary, UPC Polska will merge with the newly purchased company. As previously reported by CommsUpdate, Poland’s regulator has acquiesced to the deal with the caveat that UPC must, within 18 months, resell parts of its network formerly belonging to Aster where services had previously been provided by both companies.
