Orange expands 3G network

In the third quarter of 2011, Thailand's second largest cellco DTAC added 7,455 post-paid and 128,600 pre-paid mobile users to give it a total subscriber base of 22,864,909 (2,359,221 post-paid and 20,505,688 pre-paid). However, the 136,055 net new users total in July-September 2011 was significantly less than the 296,000 added in Q3 2010, although the decline was solely in pre-paid growth; post-paid additions in 3Q11 were up by 1,000 year-on-year.
