NBN Co inks construction deals for Western Australia and Victoria

Mexican group America Movil’s Puerto Rican subsidiary, which operates under the Claro brand name, has been promised an IPTV broadcasting licence by the local regulator, the Telecommunications Regulatory Board (TRB, or Junta Reglamentadora de Telecomunicaciones de Puerto Rico [JRT]). NextvLatam writes that the TRB’s president, Sandra Torres, confirmed the decision to grant the IPTV licence originally requested by the operator in 2008, although licensing conditions are still being evaluated.
