Huawei asks US to explain ‘security concerns’ over emergency network

Turk Telekom has reported revenues of TRY3.06 billion (USD1.64 billion) for the three months ended 30 September 2011. This figure represents an increase of 13.3% compared to the same period a year earlier. Operating profit for the third quarter increased 3.4% from TRY885 million to TRY916 million year-on-year, while Turk Telekom reported net income of TRY359 million in 3Q11, down 51.7% year-on-year, partly due to the depreciation of the lira against the euro and the dollar.
