France Telecom closer to Congo acquisition
According to Focus Taiwan, the Bureau of High Speed Rail (HSR) has
announced that
it is set to embark on a TWD500 million (USD17.2 million) joint WiMAX venture with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Industrial Technology Research Institute and an unnamed
local telecoms operator; the project aims to eliminate coverage glitches for
wireless broadband users travelling on the railway.
