Chunghwa taps Ericsson for multi-screen IPTV solution

Privately owned telecoms operator E-Net, which owns the Irish government’s metropolitan area networks (MANs) in 94 locations across the Republic, has reported a 20% year-on-year rise in turnover to EUR17.5 million (USD24.5 million) and a 70% increase in net profit to EUR2.9 million. In releasing its results for the twelve months to 30 April 2011, E-Net forecast full-year revenue growth of 26% in its current fiscal year, driven by strong demand for fibre.
