Alca-Lu keen to ensure Ghana leads Africa’s LTE deployment
Telekom Deutschland (TD), the domestic
fixed and
mobile division of German telecoms
company Deutsche Telekom, has
announced the rollout of its 800MHz Long Term Evolution (LTE)
network to a
number of areas in eastern Germany. Inhabitants of Putbus in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Wittenberge in Brandenburg and Schmalkalden in Thuringia will be able to order the company’s ‘Call & Surf Comfort Via Funk’ tariff plan, which bundles
telephony and
internet at
maximum down/upload speeds of up to 7.2Mbps/1.4Mbps. The
